The London 2012 Olympics come to an end today. For those who’ve been feverishly following or even just intermittently watching the sporting events, the closing ceremony will likely feel sweet, but sad, as emotions usually go when saying goodbye to something or someone you’ve spent two pretty intense weeks with.
